Description
As a Cyber Intelligence Analyst (Internal), you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify and assess cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting CDIC. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization’s digital assets by providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity teams. This role requires a keen understanding of cyber threats, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. REMOTE VOLUNTEER ROLE
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Essential skills include strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, expertise in OSINT tools and techniques for scraping data from the web, darknet, and social platforms, knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency forensics for tracking terrorist financing or scams, multilingual proficiency (e.g., Russian, Mandarin, Arabic), and the capacity to conduct undercover research, produce detailed threat reports, and support incident response in high-pressure environments. Additionally, candidates must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A TEAM. PRIORITY TO FORMER MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING.
